Surprisingly with more businesses embracing the internet and coming online every day, there are just as many business websites that are misguided and don’t deliver a return for the business owners, not to mention turning their customers away.

Web Smart Central is searching for the worst business website in Australia to award a free website renovation, a complete professional website redesign valued at over $2,000.

The contest is available online at www.websiterenos.com with entries being accepted until February 15, 2006. Businesses can submit their sites along with a story as to why they deserve the makeover. Internet visitors will then judge the winner from a short list of 12 websites by voting online. Voting will last until March 01, 2006, and the worst website will receive a complimentary site renovation from Web Smart Central.

The complete renovation of the winning website will be documented step by step and displayed on the site as a learning experience for all visitors to be able to benefit from.
